Ledgera is a personal-finance app for couples and households, used mainly in Brazil. This page explains what information we handle, why, and what choices you have. We keep it short and in plain language.
What we collect
- Account details. The name and password you use to create an account.
- Financial entries. The accounts, balances, credit cards, invoices, purchases, installments, recurring bills, budgets and categories you type in or import.
- Documents you upload. For example, a credit-card statement PDF you choose to send so that we can read its transactions.
- Basic technical data. Information the browser and hosting services normally handle, such as device type, browser and error logs, needed to keep the app working and secure.
We do not ask for bank passwords, and we do not connect to your bank.
How we use it
- To provide the service. Showing your accounts, reports and budgets, and keeping them in sync between devices.
- To run the AI features. Reading uploaded documents, extracting transactions, suggesting categories and, where you use it, answering questions about your own finances.
- To keep things secure. Detecting problems, preventing misuse and fixing bugs.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
AI processing
Some features send the content you submit (for example, a statement you upload or a question you ask the assistant) to Anthropic's API, which processes it and returns a result. Anthropic's commercial terms state that data sent through the API is not used to train its models by default. We do not use your data to train AI models.
Service providers
We rely on a few companies to run the app:
- Supabase stores the app's database.
- Vercel hosts the web app.
- Anthropic processes content for the AI features.
These providers only handle your data to run the service for us.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your data while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and the data in it at any time by writing to contact@ledgera.win. We will delete it, except where we must keep something by law.
Your rights
You can ask us, at contact@ledgera.win, to:
- confirm whether we hold your data and give you a copy of it (access);
- correct data that is wrong;
- delete your data;
- give your data back in a common, portable format.
If you are in Brazil, these rights are set out in the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD). If you are in Europe, similar rights come from the GDPR. We answer requests in the time the law requires.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your data, such as access controls and encrypted connections. No online service can promise perfect security, so we cannot guarantee that your data will never be exposed.
Children
Ledgera is not intended for people under 18. Please do not create an account if you are under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top. If a change is significant, we will say so in the app.
